FAX24 Usage Statistics


Westminster had two Fax24 machines. The first one was installed at College Hill Library on January 2nd, 2014. The second was installed at Irving Street on April 30th, 2014. Both machines were pulled from service August 19, 2025 since local and long distance faxing was made available on the public copiers at both library locations.

USAGE TIMELINE:

**2017: local faxing on public service copiers at College Hill and Irving Street was enabled. Fax24 machines were still used for long distance faxing needs.

**2020: Due to the global pandemic as a result of the COVID19 virus, the library was closed completely to the public beginning on March 14, 2020.

**2021: The Fax24 machines were pulled from service before the library opened for limited computer use in September. The machines remain out-of-service for all of 2021.

**2022: The Fax24 machine at Irving Street was returned to service on 1/20/22. The machine at College Hill was moved to a new location and returned to service in February.

**2023-2024:The Fax24 machine at Irving Street was down due to a lack of receipt paper from October - mid-February.

**2025-08: The Fax24 machines were pulled from service due to faxing capabilities on public copiers.
